Lost, Yet Found
Boy and Man,
Adeptus Major and demi-Master.
Almost one and not quite the other.
And with a drive to extremes
You are never satisfied.

A Gift of Power You Possess,
One admired by all around you.
I Pray you, Remember
that as no man is an island,
no man is but one side.
Many things call to you,
things of fun and studious life.
Let not music's siren song
take away variety,
for that way lies dearth and death.

Through the taste of faith
sits ill with you now,
remember forever the lessons that were taught.
Religion and hope are such gifts of light
that loss of such can forever destroy us.

Remember my friend, the roads we have traveled,
and know above all:

I am proud of you.

It's 11:00 pm.
Do You Know Who You Are?

The road is hard, the road is long,
Are you are willing to fight, aren't you?
Tooth and claw, tongue and sword::
What matter weapon when battle is all?
A paladin's life is meat and drink,
and yet, you fear you noble side.

Why?

What is it of hope and courage
that so repulses you?
What has so drained away
that loving, caring soul whose
eyes doth dwell within your starry mind.
What, are you tired?
Does the weight of the world rest on your shoulders?
Or is it another, more personal world that holds you?

Look within for answers,
Seek the truth,
Find in yourself that which must be.

And, 'bove all, thank you my friend for listening to me.

Joyous Day
Herein listen to this dream,
and know it, for a single reality.
A Place without a darkling touch,
A Word spoken without a barb,
A Truth given freely without cost.
Understandings and tunes of a different nature:
For this time in my life, I feel loved,
cared for, finally accepted.

No fights, no hate.
Good food, and above all, listening.
Is this the place where heartbreak,
so eerily absent, has dwelt a thousand days?
It cannot be. Henceforth,
shall I feel the sting of unending sadness,
this time shall I treasure,
This joyous day.
