Too Cool For Life

He was too cool
too cool for her
too cool to give a damn
Strutted his stuff on the walk
for he knew all the answers
he knew they didn't mean a damn
unless one gave them their meaning

With a coffee cup in hand
    He planned out a revolution
but was too cool to lend a hand
and change a world
that didn't deserve him

She was too cool
   too cool for the world
   too cool for life
She ran the world
   From behind the counter
   Posing all the answers
in the form of a cup
Watching her action figures
   be broken and buried
One by one

Rose Tinted Cheeks
Petrified urine stains the sheets
As Time tries to hide her regrets
Not everything erodes
Nor can all memories be forgotten
Hope dies at her feet
Like the mad dog running from a skunk
Pain lurks in the smallest and unexpected places
In the most pleasurable experiences it’s there
Waiting for the perfect catch

Transmitting Souls
The poop hits the roof
and time stops at the door
Just don't lose yourself in the wire
Its a jungle down there
56 or 46, just remember 14
I did it for the speed
and lost direction in the electronic maze

Tidily Winks

Rank #1
Among the high hopes
Of the blacktop recess playground
Wind calls, ringing the tetherball chain
As the foursquare courts
Hope someone will pick up
Only the sun is not sunny
For it is the clouds turn to play
And we are on a rainy day schedule again

Video Games haunt the past
Of wasted hours gone by
With Nintendo thumb
Stars passed unnoticed along with the term paper
As heavy eyes drift wearily
Damn! There goes another man
Please give me one more continue
One more game, just one more chance
I promise
One more life. . . (till I win)

SNAP!
And  tears are finally no more
The stick is broken
leaving no way to mend a torn soul
Scars are thick and carry a molested tune
of days gone by without a drop of light from the sun
Time hides the wounds
but they are too deep to heal
only life's bitter taste will wash away the curse
SNAP!
and everything is all gone

Lost Cheesewiz
Where do u think the cheese went so many years ago
You curse each hair you pick from it
As if it wasn't a part of you at all
and yet that cancer is a also in you
but Nair will not shave it away

A Quiet run through and tired eyes
Starts a quest for caffeine as it fills the tank for a long ride home
The journey starts by dropping off one car and piling into another
Dusty red-orange lights come from behind with the slightest wrong turn
But nothing on its breath,
The lights leave, taking the sourness with them
And silence the long drive ahead
Time passes on along with the truck, luckily it doesn't tip over
On the way back without any gas
Drifting from sleep to reality and back again
Apologies are given where no offense was taken
To end a peaceful night where it began
